Email Marketing

This article cover how to set-up Gravity Geeks email marketing add-ons.

Current Email Marketing add-ons:

There are currently 6 settings inputs for each email marketing add-on. Which are:

  1. Audience/List

  2. Subscriber Email

  3. Subscriber First Name

  4. Subscriber Last Name

  5. Subscriber Phone

  6. Double Opt-in

Audience/List

The first step is choosing your audience.

Please note: Depending on the email add-on, the field label for selecting an audience maybe list, group, or audience.

By selecting the audience dropdown, a full list of your email audiences by their group name will be populated and available for selection. By selecting a specific audience from the dropdown, you are adding the new subscriber to that audience when the form submission is received. Please see the following screenshot for reference.

Subscriber Email

The subscriber email settings field uses field mapping to determine which email input in your current form should be used for the email address of the subscriber. For example, when we select the Subscriber email input, a dropdown containing the fields in your form by field label are included. For this option we are going to select the email input titled What's your email address?

Subscriber First Name & Subscriber Last Name

The subscriber first name and subscriber last name settings options also allow for field mapping. Similar to selecting the subscriber email address, now we will select the input fields used to capture our subscribers first name and last name.

Subscriber Phone

Lastly, for our final user meta data, we can also assign the subscribers phone number to be associated with the subscriber. Again, by using field mapping, we can use the input field used to collect phone numbers for our subscribers phone.

Enable Double Opt-in

We use field mapping to dynamically assign values entered into your form to map/assign to the new subscriber.

Each of our email marketing add-ons provide you with the ability to automatically enroll the new subscriber into the selected audience or to send them a confirmation email asking them to confirm the subscription.

Please note: to stay GDPR compliant you must enable double opt-in.

After you have made your double opt-in selection, you can now click "Save Settings".
